Special Information - Chicago Festivals and EventsThe festivals and celebrations in Grant Park and the Lakefront bring many additional passengers to our trains. In the past, this has included some who were prone to excessive revelry. Dates and restrictions are listed above. No alcoholic beverages or glass bottles will be allowed on Metra trains. Passengers on trains found with alcohol may be removed or arrested. All bags carried into the rail stations or onto the train will be subject to inspection by police personnel. Metra reserves the right to refuse service to any parties who are intoxicated or impaired. Unruly behavior will be not tolerated and all riders are required to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. Those that fail to do so should anticipate that they will be detained and/or arrested. Metra prides itself in providing safe and efficient transportation. To that end, Metra police officers and off duty municipal police will patrol stations and trains. We intend to maintain a safe travel environment for our customers. Thank you for your cooperation and choosing Metra for your travel needs. |
