    In an effort to provide the public with information and useful data, Metra created this page as a resource. The goal is not only to make it simple to get information and records from Metra, but also to give customers and the public time to view and comment on important strategic and operational issues under consideration at the agency.

    RTA Regional Transparency Portal

    The RTA Regional Transparency Portal provides data related to the expenditures, contracts, and employee information for the RTA, CTA, Metra and Pace. The portal also includes safety data from the National Transit Database. All data on the portal is updated on a monthly basis.

    RTA SALES TAX INFORMATION

    A portion of Metra’s revenue is distributed by the RTA from a regional transportation sales tax. Information on RTA sales taxes can be found here. Through that site you can see the breakdown of revenue collected in different counties and the allocation of funds to different agencies.
