The Metra Electric District and Union Pacific North Line will run extra train service for anticipation of larger than normal crowds for the Chicago Bears home games. For more information click here and visit metra.com.
Alcohol restrictions will be in place for the Taste of Chicago. Alcohol will be prohibited on all Metra trains after 7 p.m. on Friday, September 6. Alcohol is prohibited on all Metra trains all day Saturday, September 7 through Sunday, September 8.
Track construction will be taking place on Saturday, September 7 through Sunday, September 8. Trains may incur delays enroute up to 20 minutes behind schedule passing through the work zone.
