As a reminder, Metra will be operating on a reduced schedule Tuesday, December 31, 2024. In additon, Metra will offer free rides on all trains arriving at or departing from Metra's downtown stations after 6pm New Year's Eve. Alcohol will be banned on all trains after 7pm on New Year's Eve.
On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Metra will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule. Click here for train schedules and ticket information.
Track construction will be taking place on Saturday, December 28 through Sunday, December 29. Trains may incur delays enroute up to 30 minutes behind schedule passing through the work zone.
