Design Notifications
The intent of the Design Notifications is to notify the design teams working for Metra of new information, directions, clarifications and any other information applying to Design-Bid-Build projects. The Design Notifications are issued as new information and the need to relay directions arises. The Design Notifications are issued in between new versions of the Design Manual, and when new versions of the Design Manual are published, the applicable Design Notifications are intended to be incorporated.

Third Party Contracts Quality Management Plan (TPCQMP)
The Metra Third Party Contracts Quality Management Plan (TPCQMP) is a document that provides overall guidance to teams that are working on Metra projects in planning, design or construction. The TPC shall review their Contract and Task Order with their Metra PM to determine which Revision of the TPCQMP will be applicable for the TPC’s contracted work.
Generally, Revision 01 of the TPCQMP is for contracts that are administered prior to November 1, 2022. Revision 02 of the TPCQMP is for contracts that are administered on or after November 1, 2022.
