Metra BNSF Stone Ave. Station Construction

On Monday, April 19, construction will begin on the western half of the inbound and outbound platforms at the Stone Avenue Station. Commuters will only be able to board and exit the train from the east half of the platforms.

 

The train station and ticket agent window will remain open.  Direct access to the inbound platform from within the station will be closed during construction. Please use the Burlington Ave. sidewalks to access the east platform boarding area.

 

The pedestrian crossing in front of the train station will be removed. Please use the Brainard Ave. sidewalks to cross the railroad tracks.

 

Metra will continue to operate a regular train schedule during construction.

 

For your safety, do not enter the construction zone. Be aware of construction workers and equipment in the area.
